MEXICO – The commercialization of the Vento in the Mexican market is coming to an end. Undoubtedly, this model was key for Volkswagen, because in addition to winning the affection of thousands of people, it was a success in sales, since for a period of ten years it was the best-selling car of the brand.

However, the evolution of the brand continues with the new Virtus, a vehicle that will continue to successfully represent Volkswagen in the subcompact sedan segment and will be the entry-level car for customers who are attracted to a Volkswagen model.

The new member of the Volkswagen family is eye-catching and mechanically stimulating, revitalizing the love affair with sedans. The flexibility of the MQB AO platform allows the new Virtus to offer a large interior space taking advantage of a spacious cabin and trunk (521 liters).

Efficiency, design, interior space, safety and connectivity are just some of the qualities that stand out in this car and set the standard in the segment. It will be available in three versions: Trendline, Comfortline and Highline and five different colors.

In its exterior appearance highlights its new design of headlights, front fascia and grills, as well as its new LED signature daytime running lights and an updated wheel design. While the interior features a new generation steering wheel, a renewed gear shift lever, new upholstery and two-tone dashboard color with new decorative inserts, sunroof and 1.0 L TSI 114 hp engine for the Highline version.
