YFYJupiter changes leadership

YFYJupiter, an innovative, sustainable packaging solutions company, has a new manager. Irina Liao is now the plant manager in the Juarez facility, the first of the company in Latin America. She is replacing Xavier Horcacitas.

Last November, the employees celebrated The Day of the Death painting their faces and celebrating this Mexican tradition as a way to bond with the Mexican employees. This was Liao’s first celebration in this facility. The company also donated boxes to Club Rotario Juárez Integra as a contribution to the altar this association made.

“We love this Mexican celebration,” said Savi Tai, Project Coordinator/Marketing, YFYJupiter Mexico.

Last April, YFYJupiter started operations in Ciudad Juarez. The company created 150 full-time jobs and the equipment investment was US$3 million. The full investment for this facility was not disclosed.

The facility operates 5 forming machines and it will double in the next two years.

In its process, the company uses recycled material and water and has integrated sustainable principles to be environment friendly.
