Volaris reduces 50% of its capacity

MEXICO —The Volaris airline announced that it has reduced approximately 50% of its total operations due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the airline, it "will reduce capacity, measured in terms of available seats per mile (ASM) for the rest of March and April 2020, by approximately 50% of the total of our operations against the originally published itinerary”.

Additionally, Volaris will take other actions that allow it to reduce costs and maintain liquidity during this period, to overcome the global crisis caused by the pandemic.

Finally, the airline has implemented safety and hygiene protocols to protect the well-being of passengers and staff.”
