Oaxaca was the state that grew the most in economic terms

MEXICO - During 2023, good dynamism has been observed in the Mexican economy, practically in all 32 Mexican states.

In the second quarter of last year, the most recent figure available, Oaxaca, Tabasco and Quintana Roo presented the most pronounced economic growth with 13.1%, 11.5% and 8.2%, respectively.

According to figures from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi), five of the 10 states with the highest growth are part of the Mexican Southeast.

Others that made it into the top 10 were Durango, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, Baja California and the State of Mexico.
