UABC students to present aerospace conference in the Chamber of Deputies
TIJUANA, BC - Aerospace engineering students will offer a conference at the Chamber of Deputies with the purpose of requesting support for the first world congress on the aerospace industry that they will lead in Cholula, Puebla, as well as support for the sciences.
Vanessa Montiel, fifth semester student and member of the Space Generation Advisory Council, informed that they will meet with the deputies on June 21 at 10 am.
“We are very proud to be able to invite people interested in aerospace issues, as it is important because we are at the peak of this industry and specialists are needed to fill these vacancies,” she said.
Montiel, also leader of the Aresphere MX venture, said that for Mexico it is important to hold the World Congress called Space Generation Advances in the Latin America Region: Mexico First Edition, which will be held on July 5 and 6 at the Inaoe in Cholula, Puebla.
There will be activities on space robotics, planetary sciences, astrophysics, research presentations, among others, which will be given by experts.
The congress is aimed at young people from 18 to 35 years old, regardless of their level of education. The only requirement is that they like aerospace.
This measure, Montiel emphasized, is to promote a taste for science and professional training.
