Chihuahua received US$1 billion in foreign direct investment
CHIHUAHUA - Chihuahua remains in the top 10 nationally as the state with the highest foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction, with US$1 billion, according to the Federal Ministry of Economy.
The information published in the Private Sector Competitive Intelligence Platform (PICsp) detailed that, during said period, a total of US$31 billion were obtained in Mexico in this area.
For its part, Chihuahua concentrated 3% of investment, positioning itself as the sixth entity with the highest level of investment, only behind states such as Mexico City, Nuevo León, Baja California, State of Mexico and Guanajuato.
Finally, the private initiative tool concluded that 84% of the total investments within the country are within the top 10.
