VYNMSA invests US$100 million in an industrial park in Torreón

TORREON, COAH - With an investment of more than US$100 million, the construction of VYNMSA Torreón Industrial Park began in Coahuila, a project that will generate around seven thousand direct jobs and 23 thousand indirect jobs.

The delivery of the first two speculative warehouses will be available in the first quarter of 2025, one of almost 5,700 square meters (m2) and the other of more than 11,100 m2.

It is important to note that this project is in addition to the 26 industrial parks that VYNMSA has strategically located in states such as Nuevo Leon, where it has corporate offices, Coahuila, Queretaro, San Luis Potosi and Guanajuato.

According to SiiLA, a state public official, this new VYNMSA park will significantly boost the region's economic development, as it underscores the existence of favorable conditions for attracting foreign capital and strengthening the local economy.

“Torreon is a producing region focused on automotive parts, electrical wires and cables, real estate and textiles, which account for close to 60% of its international sales, mostly destined to the United States, which receives close to 87% of its exports,” SiiLA commented.
