MEXICO - Yutong, a global company in mobility and urban transportation solutions, held the “Yutong Night” at the Citibanamex Center where it presented the innovative DMT Technology.
This system has been developed to optimize engine efficiency in real time, significantly reducing polluting emissions. In addition, Yutong presented its new line of buses and light trucks, specially designed for the Mexican market.
The event was attended by authorities from the transportation sector and key customers, who learned first-hand about the sustainable mobility solutions that Yutong offers for Mexico and Latin America.
During his speech, Michael Ren, director of Yutong Mexico, highlighted the company's commitment to technological innovation.
“We are convinced that the Mexican market needs a transformation towards more efficient fuel consumption and environmentally friendly operation. Our DMT Technology responds to this need, generating a positive and lasting impact on the environment and the communities we serve, in addition to offering significant operational savings,” the director said.
DMT technology is distinguished by its fleet maintenance optimization capabilities, thanks to a preventive diagnostic system that reduces downtime and operating costs. This system is complemented by the IOV platform, which enables intelligent management of vehicles in real time, controlling energy consumption, maintenance and fleet safety.
During the event, the E12 Attivi bus was presented, the result of a collaboration between Yutong and Marcopolo, a global leader in the manufacture of bus bodies. Yutong was responsible for the engine and chassis, while Marcopolo contributed its expertise in body manufacturing.
