Tamaulipas seeks to attract Asian investment in energy matters
TAMAULIPAS - The Secretary of Energy Development of Tamaulipas, José Ramón Silva, participated along with officials from the Middle East and Asia, in the inauguration of WOGE 2024 (World Oil and Gas Equipment Exhibition), in the People's Republic of China.
With the task of attracting foreign and impact investment for the state of Tamaulipas, Silva Arizabalo will be presenting the portfolio of strategic projects on November 7, 8 and 9 in the city of Xi'an.
“In Tamaulipas, we have worked tirelessly to position our state as a key player in the global energy sector. Our mission is clear: to drive sustainable and responsible development, taking advantage of our natural resources and our strategic position to contribute to the progress of our community and beyond,” said Silva during his speech.
He also stressed that international collaboration is key to addressing energy challenges.
“International collaboration is key to meeting the energy challenges of the future. China, with its impressive progress in technology and innovation, represents for us a strategic ally,” commented the secretary.
In his speech, Silva thanked the Oil and Gas Alliance team, whose work has been essential to make possible the participation and strengthen the ties between Mexico and China in the energy field.
