Güntner opens its fifth plant in NL

NUEVO LEON - The company Güntner Mexico held the inauguration of its fifth plant in the country, located in the state of Nuevo Leon.

With an investment of US$15 million and the creation of 300 direct jobs, this new plant will be dedicated to the manufacture of cooling and refrigeration systems.

During the ceremony, Emmanuel Loo, head of the office of the Ministry of Economy of Nuevo Leon, stressed that global companies like Güntner continue to bet on the entity.

“We have the human capital, infrastructure and strategic location that make our state the ideal place for business growth,” said Loo.

Güntner Mexico, a subsidiary of the German multinational founded in 1931, began operations in Mexico in 2002. It currently has five plants in the state and a strong global presence with facilities in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

The event was attended by Everardo Gómez, General Director of Güntner Mexico; Rodrigo Velazquillo, Information Director; Javier Tamez, Finance Director; Luis Guillen, Coolbridge Director; Miguel Garrido, Sales Director; Yolanda Guzmán, Senior Human Resources Manager; Eduardo Varela, Senior Operations Manager; Luis Chaparro, Operations Manager; Marco Rodríguez, Operations Manager.

Also in attendance were César Garza, Municipal President of Apodaca, and other local personalities.
