Audi updates the A3 Sedan and its S3 variant

Audi has begun distributing the updated version of the A3 compact sedan in the Mexican market, which features a sportier design, new digital functions, expanded standard equipment, and two engine options.

Although the displacement is the same in both options, 2.0 liters, the S line version will have 190 horsepower (hp), while the sporty S3 variant will have 333 hp.

This means that the Audi A3 in any of its trim levels accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 7.4 seconds, while the S3 does so in 4.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 kilometers per hour.

This improvement is accompanied by a torque splitter (as in the Audi RS3 Sedan), with active and variable torque distribution on the rear axle for greater agility and stability.

The S3 Sedan version integrates the new Audi drive select mode “dynamic plus” (with ESC sport mode), optimized progressive steering, a sportier front axle design, a new generation of electronic stability control (ESC) for improved traction, deceleration, and stability, as well as a four-outlet exhaust system.

Nine exterior colors are available for the S line and S3 versions: Arkona White, Daytona Gray, Python Yellow, District Green, Ascari Blue, Progressive Red, Navarra Blue, Glacier White, and Mito Black. Other colors from Audi Exclusive and Audi Exclusive Matte Effect are also available at an additional cost.

The Audi A3 is available in Dynamic, Select, S line, and sporty S3 trim levels, with quattro all-wheel drive as standard.
