Mercado Libre is expanding its logistics network

Mercado Libre announced the opening of a new service center in Aguascalientes, with the aim of strengthening its logistics network in Mexico and improving the efficiency of its e-commerce operations in the region; It will be located in the Mezquite Industrial Park, south of the state capital, and will become part of the company’s infrastructure, which currently includes 14 distribution centers, more than 100 operational sites, and a presence in 28 cities with same-day delivery.
This infrastructure will also have a direct impact on the local business ecosystem, as it will facilitate regional companies’ access to e-commerce by reducing logistics costs and improving product distribution efficiency.
From a business perspective, Mercado Libre’s investment aligns with the growth of e-commerce in Mexico, which has driven demand for advanced logistics infrastructure, technology, and specialized talent; the company continues to strengthen its operational model based on innovation, automation, and territorial expansion.
With this new facility, Mercado Libre not only expands its operational capacity but also drives the evolution of digital commerce in Mexico by strengthening the infrastructure that supports the growth of the digital economy and the integration of local businesses into broader value chains.
