ZOOMLION invests in Aguascalientes

Governor Tere Jimenez presided over the inauguration of the Latin American Training Center of the Chinese company ZOOMLION, as well as the launch of operations at the final assembly facility for tractors and agricultural machinery in Aguascalientes, all with an investment of US$5.2 million and the creation of more than 400 jobs, both direct and indirect.

Luo Aihu, Deputy Representative of the Mexico Office of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, stated that the creation of this Latin American center for agricultural machinery expertise and support in Aguascalientes—which integrates exhibition, sales, training, and after-sales service—represents a significant new development in ZOOMLION’s long-term investments in Mexico.

Esau Garza de Vega, Secretary of Economic Development, Science, and Technology for the State (SEDECYT), highlighted the competitive advantages of Aguascalientes and noted that currently 17 Chinese companies operate in the state and generate around 4,000 jobs; in addition, there is a portfolio of future projects that confirm the growing interest in investing in the state.

It is worth noting that ZOOMLION is a company specializing in the development, manufacture, and marketing of agricultural machinery, construction machinery, and heavy industrial equipment, headquartered in Changsha, Hunan Province, China. The company currently has a commercial and service presence in more than 140 countries and regions, as well as manufacturing, research, and operational centers in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
