Santander & CAINTRA announce loans to support Mexican SMEs

With the aim of expanding credit options and offering more tools for growth, Santander Mexico and CAINTRA Nuevo Leon announced a partnership focused on supporting companies affiliated with the business organization.

Under the agreement, Santander Mexico will make up to US$5 million in financing available to CAINTRA-affiliated companies, in addition to preferential terms on products such as Credito Simple and Credito Agil. The initiative aims to expand access to capital for the state’s industrial SMEs, one of the country’s main manufacturing hubs.

The partnership also includes benefits focused on business development, such as training programs, digital tools, and options for international expansion.

The goal of the agreement is to help companies build credit histories and access better financing terms for expansion projects and productive investments.

The partnership comes at a time when access to credit remains one of the main challenges for SMEs in Mexico, particularly for those seeking to integrate into high-value-added supply chains linked to nearshoring, advanced manufacturing, and exports.
