AMPIP & FINSA ensure safety standards

During the Second Members’ Meeting of the Mexican Association of Private Industrial Parks (AMPIP), held in the city of Monterrey, David O’Donnell, Chairman of the AMPIP Board of Directors, presented the “AMPIP Safe Industrial Park” certification to FINSA, in recognition of the renewal of compliance with the program across six parks for the 2026–2028 period.

The program was established in 2023, with operating rules and technical criteria aimed at consolidating a standardized platform of high competitiveness and logistical security. Since then, it has positioned itself as the most robust institutional tool for the comprehensive management of property security in industrial parks.

The renewal is based on the report that FINSA submitted to AMPIP, in which it certifies that the security and infrastructure schemes—audited by external consultants—show no significant changes. The company also made a formal commitment to subject its six developments to a new external audit within two years.

For the multinational companies and tenants operating within these developments, as well as for the workforce that labors there daily, this accreditation translates into direct added value: reduced operational risks, greater preventive coordination with authorities, and a reliable environment for advanced manufacturing and last-mile logistics.

Through actions such as this, AMPIP and FINSA reaffirm their commitment to leading and driving the modernization of Mexico’s industrial infrastructure, demonstrating that a competitive industrial park in the 21st century must, by definition, be a safe and technologically prepared environment.
