The State government has secured projects to establish four companies in the Quintana Roo Industrial Park with Strategic Customs Post currently under construction in the Belize border. The State is expecting to receive investment valued at US$10 million. One of the companies that will be arriving soon is Wasser, that might bring along a US$50 million investment to build the first electrolysis ans sodium plant in Mexico, to provide cleaning systems for hotel pools without the need to use highly contaminant chemical substances. Another one of these companies is a uniform factory which is now operating in Chetumal, but is going to move into the park industrial once it begins its activities.
