Automotive & Aerospace Nearshoring Summit 2026 Meets in Chihuahua

Chihuahua, Chih. – September 2026. Chihuahua will become a meeting place for leaders in the automotive and aerospace industries during the Automotive & Aerospace Nearshoring Summit 2026, which will take place on September 29 and 30 at the Expo Chihuahua Convention Center.

Organized by MEXICONOW, the event will bring together executives from OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, specialized suppliers, industry associations, and organizations involved in the development of both sectors, with a program focused on analyzing the opportunities, capabilities, and challenges facing the automotive and aerospace industries in Mexico and North America.

The program will feature prominent industry representatives, including Luis Lizcano, Executive President and CEO of FEMIA; Cristina Vázquez Ruiz, Coordinator of Economic Studies at AMDA; Adolfo Viramontes, Plant Director at Embraer Mexico; and Aureliano Lugo, Plant Manager at Ford Motor Mexico, among other leaders and specialists. In addition, this year’s event will feature Eugenio Baeza Fares, President and CEO of Grupo BAFAR, as the keynote speaker.

Over the course of two days, the Summit will combine conferences, an exhibition area, B2B business meetings, and networking opportunities, facilitating connections between manufacturing companies and suppliers interested in integrating into, diversifying within, or strengthening their participation in the automotive and aerospace supply chains.

The Automotive & Aerospace Nearshoring Summit 2026 will thus bring together global companies, suppliers, associations, and industry leaders in Chihuahua to exchange perspectives, identify new business opportunities, and strengthen ties within two strategic sectors for manufacturing in Mexico.
