Grupo Dicas Invests in Stellantis Agency in Mérida

Grupo Dicas has begun construction in Mérida on Meridien Periférico Norte,the largest Stellantis dealership in the southeastern part of the country—a project involving an investment of US$11.1 million and the creation of approximately 100 jobs, according to the Yucatán state government.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena noted that the project demonstrates the private sector’s confidence in the state and emphasized the state government’s willingness to facilitate and streamline the inflow of productive capital.

The governor noted that the modernization of the automotive sector and progress in commercial infrastructure will help expand the state’s economic activity and solidify Mérida’s position as a commercial and logistics hub in southeastern Mexico.

During his remarks, Grupo Dicas President Emilio Díaz Castellanos explained that Yucatán continues to offer favorable conditions for investment. Meanwhile, the company’s CEO, Arturo Quirarte Dayarse, indicated that the firm will continue to invest in the state.
