Puebla Collaborates with Google Cloud
The Government of Puebla and Google Cloud have launched a partnership aimed at establishing an artificial intelligence lab within CERHAN II, a facility designed to expand training and professional development in AI, innovation, cybersecurity, and digital skills for various segments of the population.
Google Cloud's participation will take the form of a technical and operational collaboration, which will enable the integration of the company's technological tools and solutions into the development processes. The project is focused on advancing capabilities and does not involve a direct investment by Google Cloud to upgrade the facilities.
The purpose of the lab will be to bring knowledge and new technologies to people with different backgrounds, as well as to strengthen digital skills and open up opportunities for the development of specialized talent in areas related to digital transformation.
The initiative is part of a larger project that seeks to establish CERHAN II as a hub for training, specialization, and technological innovation. The model explores the possibility of forming partnerships with companies, academic institutions, and stakeholders in the technology ecosystem, with the goal of expanding the capabilities available in Puebla.
The partnership does not involve the installation of Google’s corporate infrastructure in Puebla nor does it entail direct investment by the company to upgrade CERHAN II. Google Cloud’s involvement focuses on capacity building, training, and leveraging its technological tools.
Through this collaboration, Puebla hopes to expand the training of digital talent, promote the responsible use of artificial intelligence, and develop specialized professionals who can meet new technological needs. The lab will pave the way for integrating training with strategic areas such as AI, cybersecurity, and innovation.
