Harris Manufacturing Solution looks to join Coahuila’s aerospace sector

Harris Manufacturing Solution, a new company of the aerospace sector, is exploring the possibility of settling in the city of Acuña, Coahuila. Municipal authorities and the business sector held a meeting with representatives of the company to present the border city’s situation, said the Director of Economic Development, Lino Gerardo González Calvillo. The company is looking to invest in the state’s aerospace sector.
González Calvillo added that Sergio Favela Gutierrez, member of Acuña’s city council, as well as the Director of the Association of Maquiladoras, Cuauhtemoc Hernandez Castilla, met with Jim Harris, the company’s representative, to explain the potential that Acuña in terms of electric power, safety and labor.
During the meeting, municipal authorities made known the facilities that the municipality has and its development, giving them to know what is done in terms of clean energy, like with the Amista Wind Farm and the Port To Plain road project.
For his part, Jim Harris made known the characteristics of the company and its interest to settle in the country, having in mind the city of Acuña.
