Soria Natural will commercialize cannabis products in Mexico

Soria Natural, through its subsidiary Fitonat Mexico, has been one of the seven companies authorized to commercialize products containing cannabis in the country.
The CEO of Soria Natural, Rafael Esteban Ollo, obtained last week the authorization that will allow Fitonat to sell raw materials in order to manufacture products based on this ingredient. In addition, it is planned to launch a new line of cannabis products that will include cosmetics and food supplements.
In an event organized by Secretaría de Salud de México, through Comisión Federal para la Protección contra Riesgos Sanitarios (COFEPRIS), has given permission to Soria Natural along with 37 other products, including raw materials, supplements, cosmetics and food.
All authorized products comply with the Guidelines on Sanitary Control of Cannabis and its derivatives and contain proportions less than 1% of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the principle with psychoactive effects of marijuana.
Rafael Esteban pointed out that for Soria Natural this authorization supposes a step more in the bet of the company to continue its line of growth and expansion in Mexico. Fitonat in the only Spanish capital company that has obtained permits from COFEPRIS.
