Airbus delivers A320 aircraft to Volaris

Mexican airline Volaris has received a plane from the Airbus A320 family, as one of its main clients in Mexico, enjoying a ten year partnership with this European company. The airline currently operates a fleet of A319, A320 and A321 in destinations throughout Mexico, Central America and the United States, and to date has ordered 74 single-aisle aircraft, including 30 A320neo. Airbus pointed out that the A320 series is a best-seller worldwide, the preferred choice for Latin American air carriers, with over 560 A320 airplanes working in the region, and holding currently one third of total sales in this market, compared to their competition. This a model with a superior cabin and larger size, more space in the seats, larger aisles, broader storage compartments and areas that provide more comfort and functionality.
