Cooper Standard invested US$15 million in Aguascalientes

AGUASCALIENTES — The second Cooper Standard plant was inaugurated in Aguascalientes, a development located in the FINSA industrial park, for which a private investment of US$15 million was required and will generate 100 new jobs with high added value.
In this plant, polymer mixing technology will be instrumented to provide seals and rubber packaging to the automotive industry. The challenge for Rogelio Silva, who serves as director, will be to achieve the diamond standard of the company within a period of one year.
Cooper Standard, has relied on the entity thanks to various advantages such as security and good reception of the families of workers who have settled in hydrocarbon territory; but also because these investments are supported by an important network of industrial parks, by business culture and economic diversification.
The company's first plant in the state is the largest of the 124 of the corporate in the world and is considered the number 1 for its performance, it produces about 200 part numbers (unique identifiers for each product) and records a manufacturing average daily of 73,000 pieces for brands such as Ford, Volkswagen, Nissan, General Motors, Chrysler, among others.
