Arizona and Chihuahua to open aerospace liaison office
CHIHUAHUA — The state of Arizona will open in Chihuahua a trade and investment liaison office focused on the aerospace sector that will open business and exchange opportunities for both border states.
Doug Ducey, governor of Arizona, posted in his social media that the agreement to open the office in Chihuahua will allow to create a platform to increase foreign direct investment and business opportunities on both sides of the border.
"The constant economic strengthening of Chihuahua continues to reap fruits, yielding results, attracting investment, generating jobs, all for the benefit of our people," Chihuahua’s governor Javier Corral wrote on social networks, sharing the announcement of his Arizona counterpart.
Ducey also wrote that the relationship between Arizona and Mexico is recognized as a national model of cross-border collaboration, within the framework of the ratification of the Treaty between Mexico, the United States and Canada.
