A US$106 million investment arrives in Hidalgo

HIDALGO – Governor Omar Fayad, just announced the arrival of seven investments to Hidalgo, for a total amount of US$106 million, creating 1,815 new jobs.

Three of the seven companies announced are local, two of them, are national firms and the rest are foreign companies. "These companies are the proof that Hidalgo continues to receive investments and, furthermore, that we diversify to generate new opportunities," said the governor.

Thus, the growth of the Platah Industrial Park has been confirmed, which has tripled the number of companies that have reached the area due to its strategic location, connectivity, and logistic vocation.

MEC Espejos Retrovisores and WR Controls are the automotive companies that will arrive in Platah with investments worth US$2.6 and US$683,852, generating 100 and 120 new jobs, respectively.

MEC Espejos is a Hidalgo-based company, dedicated to the design, development and production of these accessories. On the other hand, WR Controls a Swedish company, is specialized in the production of control cables focused on the automotive, industrial and maritime sectors.
