Aeromexico to charge US$25 for checking-in luggage to US and Canada flights

Aeromexico is changing its luggage policy as of February first, thus charging up to 500 pesos per piece of luggage checked-in to flights between Mexico and the U.S. or Canada. Travelers who purchase tickets for tourist class will have to pay a 500 Mexican pesos fee, US$25 at the Aeromexico desks, starting February 1st, if they wish to check-in any bags. If the procedure is done via internet, the charge will be only 400 pesos, US$20.
