Students from El Salvador, Costa Rica, Argentina and France attend to the National Aeronautics University in Queretaro (UNAQ) every year, the first one devoted to this industry in Mexico, attracted by the slogan "A sky of opportunities". After 8 years of functioning as a university center, UNAQ has become the third aircraft maintenance base of Latin America and provides skilled labor force to 46 companies of the sector, such as Bombardier, Safran, Delta, and Airbus, established in the cluster nearby the Queretaro's International Airport. Jorge Gutierrez de Velasco Rodriguez, UNAQ's rector, stated that one of their goals was to have a national and international recognition, with the objective of encouraging the students to take the opportunities of professional growth offered by the Mexico's Aeronautics sector.
