MEXICO —The head of the Federal Aviation Agency (AFAC), Rodrigo Vásquez Colmenares, presented his master plan, that is, the backbone through which this body will be governed by 7 axes: regulatory harmonization, aeronautical training, modernization of airspace, airport infrastructure, safe operations, aeronautical manufacturing and prevention of incidents and air accidents.

“This is a strategic and long-term plan that establishes progress for aviation in the future. The creation of this body is a mandate that aviation has been asking for during the last 10 years. We must do something that really represents a change for the aviation industry in this country,”said Rodrigo Vásquez Colmenares, director of AFAC
