Agility Tooling to invest US$22 million in Queretaro

QUERETARO — With an initial investment of US$8 million, Agility Tooling de Martinrea inaugurated its new plant in Querétaro, the third of the company in the entity.
However, the Canadian company project considers a total capital of US$ 22 million in the medium term, as well as the generation of 190 jobs.
“Today we are witnessing the birth of a company that will manufacture the largest and most complex aluminum injection molds in all of Mexico,”said Frank Barbara, vice president of Operations for Agility Tooling.
During his speech at the event, he stated that this facility will provide security parts for the automotive sector, based on the specific demand of its customers.
Meanwhile, the minister of Sustainable Development (Sedesu) of Querétaro, Marco Antonio del Prete Tercero, recalled the participation of Canadian companies in the current local administration, with a total of 16 projects that amount to an investment of US$ 215 million.
