AIFA is officially inaugurated
STATE OF MEXICO – The Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA) was officially inaugurated, with the presence of President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, accompanied by members of his cabinet, and the governors of Mexico City, State of Mexico and Hidalgo. At the opening event, the President reserved himself from giving a speech, after announcing that he would only accompany the inauguration and would not cut any ribbons or anything. In his participation, the PRI leader Del Mazo assured that the Santa Lucia Airport is the most important infrastructure work completed in our country during the present century. He highlighted the austerity project promoted by Lopez Obrador, and pointed out that the construction of the airport work shows "the president's capacity" to achieve his purposes, as well as to fulfill his commitments. "The Felipe Angeles International Airport is testimony to the character and determination of President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, of his conviction to give his decisions a social sense, the president chose emblematic projects to be carried out throughout his administration and it is a source of pride that one of them is here in the State of Mexico," he admitted. For her part, Claudia Sheinbaum assured that the only ones who were against the AIFA are those who look exclusively for their personal interests, those who benefited for decades from the privilege of being close to power and who today still do not understand that Mexico has already changed. The head of government called on "all skeptics" to get to know the new airport and said she was sure that, upon visiting it, the opponents would enjoy it. Source: Animal Politico
