Air France/KLM aeronautic group is seeking to increase the number of passengers between Europe and Mexico, where they share 25% of the market. Vincent Etchebehere, general director of the company in Mexico, remarked at a press statement that Air France expects to give service to 35 thousand more passengers in 2016, which is a 17% growth from 2015 figures. KLM, on the other hand, intents to grow by 8.0%, in other words, to add 15 thousand travelers to last year's total. According to the Chief Executive of AirFrance/KLM group, the signing of the bilateral agreement Mexico-U.S. , will make transit through North America easier for more air carriers, thus producing the indirect benefit of improving connectivity.
