ALA Corporation arrives in Chihuahua

The Italian company ALA Corporation began operations in the city of Chihuahua, marking its first presence in Mexico; the announcement was made during a meeting between governor Maru Campos and company representatives, where the governor welcomed the firm, which specializes in the aerospace industry and has more than 35 years of international experience.
“Today we celebrate ALA’s first presence in Mexico; our vision is for Chihuahua to become its growth platform for North America, incorporating high-value-added engineering, design, and manufacturing capabilities in the future,” said the governor.
The arrival of ALA Corporation also involves the creation of opportunities for specialized professionals in areas such as logistics, engineering, strategic procurement, quality, and inventory management. These positions will contribute to strengthening local talent and developing skills related to the aerospace industry.
Chihuahua remains Safran’s primary hub—outside of France—for the production of aircraft electrical wiring, as well as safety and evacuation systems, cabin lighting, and other aerospace-related systems.
With the addition of ALA Corporation and the ongoing expansion projects at Safran, the state continues to strengthen its aerospace ecosystem by attracting international companies, developing specialized talent, and consolidating industrial capabilities focused on the sector’s supply chain.
