MEXICO — In the face of the stoppage of productive activities due to COVID-19, through a letter sent to the Mexican government, the Mexican Association of Automotive Dealers (AMDA), warned that companies will have flow problems to meet their commitments such as payment of taxes, payroll, credits and suppliers, for what it is urgent to implement economic emergency measures to reduce job losses.

AMDA proposed to the Morenista government to implement a differentiated program, according to the size of companies, so that they are granted a partial subsidy for micro and small companies, as well as an agreement of the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) to temporarily modify the credit rating guidelines in order not to penalize credits.
