The Secretariat of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE) informed that there is ongoing analysis to bring more specialized manufacturing investment operations to town, as the labor force for intensive manufacturing is not viable here. The State has currently around six investors, however, both the industrial firms and the State Government are looking for better options.  Not just any new investment is desirable, but potential investors have been approaching authorities and are showing the added value they would bring into the state, looking for companies that want to install plants here with new technology, as well as technical and engineering employment positions to offer good remuneration.
