Mexico's National Industry of Auto-Parts (INA) will invest US$1.3 billion during 2017 and 2018 to cater to the assemblers that have opened plants in the last year, such as Toyota and Mercedes Benz, informed Oscar Albin, President of INA. The executive said that the Commerce Chambers from Germany and Japan (JETRO), will help assemblers such as Mazda and Honda to contact German auto-part providers. Additionally, investment projects are staying in Mexico, with new capital funds coming from Japan, mainly, but also from Europe, in order to serve assembly plants in Mexico.
