BAIC inaugurates production line in Veracruz

BAIC Corporation, along with its partner Automotive Trucks Motors, inaugurated an assembly line at the AT Motor plant, in the municipality of Puente Nacional, in Veracruz. Here, the sedan D20 and the SUV X25 models for the domestic market are manufactured. The inaugurated assembly line has capacity to assemble 6,000 vehicles annually in its first stage. In 2018, for its second stage, it will increase to 10,000 units and by 2019 with the third stage, production will increase to 30,000 units and then exports to Argentina, Colombia and Uruguay will begin.
