During the test drive of the all-terrain BJ40 vehicle, the Director of the Chinese automotive in Mexico, Jimena Saenz, pointed out that "we are looking to have 80% of our lines made in Mexico". She said that a new medium size SUV, the X65, will be introduced to Mexico in the remainder 2017, as well as another D series sedan, towards the end of the year, with the assembly of the SUV probably taking little less time than the assembly of the all terrain vehicle, "but we are expecting to have 80% of our lines made in Mexico by 2020".
