Baja California looking to attract French investment

A committee from Baja California will participate in the international “Paris Air Show”, with the intention of attracting investment from French companies for the State. Jose Lopez Castellanos, from the Ministry of Economic Development in the State (SEDECO), said that the plan is to promote Baja California's leadership in the aerospace, medical and electronic sectors. Moreover, the officer said that French companies will invest US$1 billion in Mexico. This amount will go to companies already established and to sectors like energy and oil, that have a vision of expanding their operations in Mexico.
