BBVA Group announces millionaire investment in Mexico

The president of Bilbao Bank Vizcaya Argentaria, Francisco González informed that the Spanish BBVA Group will invest US$1.5 billion in Mexico over the next five years, and even has plans to acquire another bank in this country. He said the investment announced will have to do with software, intelligence and continuing to prepare the bank to be more efficient and close to the customers. In 2016, the BBVA Group obtained profits of US$3.67 billion, 31.5% more than in 2015; of which US$2.09 billion correspond to the profits in Mexico.
