BC is the third state with the most Foreign Investment received

Baja California is the third state in Mexico with the most FDI investment received, according to information from the Ministry of Economy (SE), with accumulated investment of US$ 1.05 billion during the first semester of 2017. The Secretary of Economic Development in the State, Carlo Bonfante Olache, said that this investment figure represents a 20.4% increase in relation to the same period in 2016, placing the State in the first place along the Northern border and the third place in Mexico, as far as investment received. The international business environment,  the human capital, the school-enterprise relations, the productive infrastructure and a pro-business environment, have resulted in competitive conditions that favor the continuity and new arrival of investment projects.
