Beer production will grow in Mexico

It is expected that by the end of 2018, domestic beer production will be higher than the 110 million hectoliters reported in 2017.

“We certainly expect to exceed last year’s production. Mexico has become a brewing power, we’ve been  the first beer exporters for many years and we are also the fourth  beer producer,” said Maribel Quiroga, general manager of Cerveceros de Mexico.

Mexico exports 33 million hectoliters to foreign markets, while in 2016 32 million hectoliters were sold, representing a growth of 2.8%.
