BMW Group and Bosch inaugurated new Digital Classroom in SLP
SAN LUIS POTOSI - BMW Group and Bosch inaugurated a new Digital Classroom in SLP, located at the Colegio Nacional de Educación Profesional Técnica (CONALEP), Plantel Ing. Manuel Moreno Torres. The investment was of US$115,496.
This project will benefit 1,500 students and 30 teachers at its launch. It will be equipped with cutting-edge technologies, such as additive manufacturing through 3D printers, collaborative robotics, virtual reality, design and prototyping, among others.
The equipment is state-of-the-art and teachers will receive about 100 hours of training for the correct use of digital tools.
In this sense, Harald Gottsche, President and CEO of BMW Group SLP, said that this Digital Classroom is part of the projects to strengthen education by supporting the students of this school to have an innovative learning process to develop knowledge and skills that will allow them to quickly join the industry.
Likewise, Susan Johnson, Commercial VP of Bosch SLP, highlighted that this project is an integral part of Bosch Mexico's continuous efforts to strengthen dual education in the country.
In addition, both companies agreed that for companies with a social dimension, supporting education is one of the highest priorities, which is why they promote initiatives focused on the development of talent, especially young people.
