Boeing airplane demand prospects escalating

Compared to the outline from 2016, Boeing has increased its estimations of demand for new airplanes over the next 20 years, to 41,030 units (3% up), with a value of US$6.1 billion. The single aisle airplane segment will show greater growth rates compared to the forecast, thanks to low cost air carriers and emerging markets. More than 29,530 new airplanes will be needed for this segment, that is 5% more than last year. The prospect for the broad fuselage airplane segment is 9,130 units.
