Illinois-based brake system components manufacturer Brake Parts Inc. (BPI) announced that, in less than two years since its opening, its manufacturing facility in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, has already exceeded production expectations.
“By utilizing a more productive and efficient manufacturing process combined with an automated and innovative facility featuring state-of-the-art equipment, BPI has the ability to produce friction-ready calipers to meet our growing customer demand,” said H.T. Chang, vice president of product development, engineering, Research & Development and quality.
With over 160,000 square feet of production capabilities and more than 280 employees, BPI-Nuevo Laredo is strategically laid out to maximize efficiency.Â
The facility has well-defined quality control standards in place that are supported by engineers, inspectors and auditors. In fact, its quality management system successfully completed the ISO9001:2015 certification process.Â
BPI owns four production facilities in Mexico, located in Mexico City; Los Reyes La Paz, State of Mexico; Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas and Juarez, Chihuahua. The company also operates a representation office and a distribution center in Mexico City.
