CAINTRA allocates US$1.7 billion to support SMEs

Through its +PYMEX program, CAINTRA generated US$1.7 billion in additional purchases from Nuevo Leon’s SMEs, strengthening the state’s integration into supply chains and consolidating its strategic role in the face of the challenges posed by industrial relocation.
For the manufacturing ecosystem—where SMEs account for 85% of CAINTRA’s more than 5,000 members—strengthening local suppliers has become a key factor in boosting industrial competitiveness and advancing import substitution.
Over the past year, more than 3,480 business meetings were held, representing a 17% increase, and 18,800 business connections were established through 70 specialized events.
To meet the standards demanded by large-scale industry, CAINTRA reported that its members accumulated more than 130,000 hours of training in strategic areas for manufacturing and foreign trade, including innovation, productivity, and legal compliance.
In addition, more than 3,500 SMEs received specialized consulting and workshops focused on tax compliance and financial decision-making in global markets.
