CHIHUAHUA - With the purpose of fostering the development of projects and promoting better conditions for business and investment of Canadian companies in Chihuahua, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico A.C. (CanCham), opened its Chihuahua-Pacific Chapter.
This is an extension of the organization in the region to improve the business environment and promote economic integration.
During the inaugural ceremony, Chihuahua's Secretary of Innovation and Economic Development, Ulises Fernandez, highlighted the importance of this event to face current challenges, through collaborations and alliances to define a roadmap and materialize opportunities.
"This is the opportunity to create an ecosystem not only to favor investments in the region, but to ensure that there is closer collaboration between companies," said Fernandez.
According to Secretary Fernandez, it is about ensuring that an ecosystem is being built in the state, where the supply chain of different industries is developed, positioning the entity as an international benchmark.
The initiative will provide business opportunities and strengthen bilateral relations between Canada and Mexico, as well as commercial and diplomatic ties with the state of Chihuahua, in addition to facilitating the identification of business partners, local suppliers and expansion opportunities in the region.
