++zacatecas++ Millionaire investment for Aeolian plant in Zacatecas
Zacatecas, Zacatecas.- With an investment for around US$300 million, the Spaniard company Preneal Internacional announced the installation here of an Aeolian plant, which will be located in Guadalupe, Vetagrande and Panuco municipalities in Zacatecas. The plant is expected to start operations by late 2013.Gema Mercado Sanchez, Head of Zacatecas’ Council for Science, Technology and Innovation, said that works will start soon for the construction of the plant, which will generate close to 153 megawatts.
To reach such purpose, a development plan was also announced, involving several agencies in the project, such as the Ministry of the Environment (Semarnat), the state-owned power generating company CFE and the Energy Regulation Commission, among others.
