Certus Automotive opens US$ 22 million plant in Queretaro

Certus Automotive opened in recent days its first production facility in Queretaro to manufacture chrome plated plastic components for automotive applications.

The company invested US$ 22 million to establish operations at a facility located in the Aerotech Industrial Park. Some 350 workers were recruited for this endeavor.

Certus supplies parts for Lincoln and Volkswagen from other facilities, but is not clear which automaker will supply from the Queretaro site.
