China “raises hand” to establish business with Veracruz

The chief representative of the Chinese Council to Promote International Trade (CCPIT), Zhang Chao, stated that Chinese businessmen want to invest in infrastructure for Veracruz, besides planning to import agri-food products from Veracruz. This is the information so far, there are not any investment projects from Veracruz in China currently. Entrepreneurs from China said in a reunion with members of Mexico's National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (CANACINTRA) Xalapa, that they are looking to establish commercial ties with this State. “We are interested in agri-food products (…) We will assess later if there is an opportunity for Chinese companies in the infrastructure sector”, said Zhang Chao.
