Chinese automotive companies coming full throttle in Mexico
Great Wall Motors, an automotive company from China approached the government of the States of Nuevo Leon and San Luis Potosi, expressing interest in setting up an assembly plant in Mexico, thus joining other companies from the Asian country, such as BAIC and JAC, that are currently expanding in âaztec soilâ. Specialists agree that these Chinese brands are interested in internationalization their products and Mexico is in their radar as one of the strongest markets in America Latin. âI see Mexico as an absolutely viable economy for new Chinese investmentâ, said Eduardo Solis, President of the Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry (AMIA).
